For over 90 years, Fendt has driven innovative technological advancements and set important benchmarks in agricultural technology. A story that never ends, because Fendt has embodied progress born from tradition from the very beginning.

All tractors are designed and manufactured exclusively in Germany. The manufacturer was the first to implement stepless, continuously variable speed control in production and practically realised the shift-by-wire machine control concept. Industrial machine design is developed in collaboration with Porsche Design Studio.

Frames – for life

The Fendt Twister rakes have a large, strong square frame. This ensures their long service life and outstanding stability, as the individual rotors are connected via robust frame connections, special flange bearings, and hardened bolts. The central gearbox on the Fendt Twister is oil-immersed and protected from dust and dirt. The bearings on both sides run particularly smoothly.

Direct drive

All enclosed drive components are reliably protected from dust and dirt and are lubricated. The large hexagonal shaft and self-centring universal joints efficiently drive the rotors. This maintenance-free system has proven itself many times over on tedders and operates with a direct linear drive. Access to the system is very easy, which makes maintenance particularly simple.

Judesys

Thanks to the features of the smart rotor wheels, the Fendt Twister operates efficiently and has a sustainable design. The rotors are positioned so there is little distance to the tines at the lowest point to the ground surface. Therefore, the Twister tedders follow the ground contours ideally and the fodder is not contaminated. The wheels also have protective plates on the rims, which prevent grass from entering.
