What are your impressions after working on farms in Vilkaviškis, Kazlų Rūda and Raseiniai districts?
🟢 In the first farm, the tractor was tested in transport, carrying gravel with a 25-tonne trailer. Fuel consumption was 56 l/100 km.
At Antrame farm, a Kvernaland 5-furrow reversible plough was tested, ploughing to a depth of 15-20 cm at an average speed of 10 km/h. After ploughing 4 hectares of meadow, the average fuel consumption was 13.8 l/ha. The terrain included hills, and the soil structure was varied, with peat, sandy loam, and clay.
🟢 At the third farm, a trial with a Pottinger 3m working width tine cultivator. Working depth from 20-30 cm, average speed 13 km/h. After cultivating 5 hectares, average fuel consumption was 10.9 l/ha. The terrain was fairly flat, the soil structure was medium and varied peat, sandy loam in places with clay.
How are customers responding?
✔ The tractor is ergonomic and comfortable, with a low noise level in the cabin, and economical, even when compared to the Fendt 724 Vario SCR tractor, which has similar fuel consumption. The tested Fendt 728 tractor has a nominal engine power of 46 hp higher than the 724 Vario SCR, and its operating weight is almost 1 tonne greater.

✔ A very good and useful integrated tyre pressure control system VarioGrip, where tyre pressure can be changed from the cab at any time when needed, and with wide wheels, it is possible to work without dual wheels.
✔ Very comfortable to use new FFC – flat-face hydraulic couplings, which allow for easy connection and disconnection of hydraulic implement hoses under pressure, are protected from dirt ingress and oil leakage.
