Yesterday, April 9th, UAB “Ivabaltė” visited neighbouring Latvia. Near the town of Indra, young farmer Dimitrijs Zalbovičs greeted us with a smile and showed us his expanding, innovative 2300-hectare three-part farm, which he manages together with his family. This family farm is one of the largest in the region, and Dimitrijs„ farm, “ALAS”, is the newest and rapidly expanding.
This working season, the young farmer will begin with a new tracked tractor, the Challenger MT775E STEALTH, which received an award for innovation at the EIMA 2014 exhibition in Italy. Only 28 units of this specially designed MT775E STEALTH tractor were manufactured, and one of them will now be proudly featured on a farm in Latvia.
The farmer shared that he has already had the chance to test the tracked vehicle in the fields and is impressed with its economy, comfort, and power. Additionally, the family-run „ALAS“ farm has, for several years, successfully been using a Challenger self-propelled sprayer and a Fendt 936 Vario tractor, both acquired from UAB „Ivabaltė“, in addition to the new Challenger tracked tractor.

Over the course of the year, the farmer plans to expand the „ALAS“ farm holdings by another five hundred hectares. The young man also mentioned that he is satisfied not only with the agricultural machinery purchased from UAB „Ivabaltė“ but also with the quality of their service and the company's customer approach. Dimitrijs joked, „Now I'll have to replace all the machinery with products represented by your firm,“ and hinted that he plans to purchase a Fendt 828 tractor, a DAMMANN trailed sprayer, and JOSKIN products.
Wishing Dimitrijs success in his agricultural work and a bountiful harvest!
