Agricultural machinery supplier „Ivabaltė“ is expanding its livestock product portfolio and is beginning a collaboration with French manufacturer „Emily“. The new partnership will be presented at the „Ką pasėsi…2026“ exhibition, which will take place from March 26th to 28th and is considered one of the most important agro-sector events of the year in Lithuania.
This step signifies the company's consistent strategy to expand its range of machinery for livestock farms and offer high value-added solutions.
Partnership with a manufacturer with many years of experience
„Emily“ is a family business from France, operating since 1974 and specialising in the production of livestock and other heavy machinery. Over the decades, the company has grown into one of the most important manufacturers in this segment in Europe, offering a wide range of solutions for agriculture and industry.
„Ivabaltės's choice to collaborate with this manufacturer reflects a market trend – farmers are increasingly opting for reliable partners with many years of experience, who can offer effective and practically applicable solutions.
„It's important for us to work with partners who understand the real needs of farms and can offer proven solutions. Emily is precisely that kind of manufacturer. Furthermore, it's also a family business – just like Ivabaltė,„ says the CEO of Ivabaltė, Monika Tarvydytė.
Focus on farm efficiency at the exhibition
At the „Ką pasėsi…2026“ exhibition, the „Ivabaltės“ stand will feature the bestseller „Emily“ – a straw blower designed for efficient straw chopping and spreading on livestock farms, used for distributing both litter and feed.
„This technique allows straw to be spread up to 25 metres, thereby optimising working time and reducing the need for manual labour. Such solutions are becoming increasingly relevant for farms seeking greater efficiency and better animal housing conditions,“ says Arnoldas Jonytis, an „Ivabalte“ product specialist, who will help farmers in Lithuania choose „Emily“ equipment that best suits their farms.
According to the company's CEO, this type of technology is becoming a necessity, particularly for medium and larger farms where the efficiency of every working hour is important.
„Today, the most important thing on farms isn't just the machinery, but how much it genuinely eases everyday work. We see a clear trend: farmers are choosing solutions that allow them to work faster, more accurately, and with lower costs. It is precisely this value that „Emily“ equipment creates,“ notes M. Tarvydytė.
Continuous strengthening of the product portfolio
The company „Ivabaltė“ is best known in the Lithuanian market as the official representative of „Fendt“ tractors, but this brand also signifies high-quality feed preparation machinery, relevant for livestock farms. The company has been expanding its livestock machinery offering for many years, collaborating with manufacturers such as „Trioliet“ and „Joskin“, but there is a demand in the market for more specialised solutions specifically within the livestock sector.
According to Gabija Tarvydytė, the Head of Business Development and Strategy responsible for product portfolio formation, the new partnership will allow them to better meet market needs.
„We are actively working to find innovations to offer Lithuanian farms, supplementing our portfolio of well-known brands we represent. Today, we offer high-quality feed mixing and distribution equipment from „Trioliet“, advanced slurry injection solutions from „OXBO“, manure and slurry management solutions from „Joskin“, feed preparation machinery from „Fendt“, as well as „Weidemann“ loaders, which are increasingly chosen by livestock farms.
Therefore, we are delighted to add another strong brand, „Emily,“ to our portfolio. Its solutions will enable farmers to offer an even wider range of technological solutions and will further strengthen our competitiveness in the market,“ she states.
The further direction is individual solutions for farms
Following the „Ivabaltė“ exhibition, the company plans active work with clients, including farm demonstrations and field days aimed at showcasing solutions for feed preparation, feeding, and other applications. This approach will allow farmers to not only familiarise themselves with the machinery but also to practically assess its suitability and effectiveness in real-world conditions.
„Every farm is different, so there are simply no universal solutions in this area. Our goal is to understand the specific farm's operations and select the machinery or solution that will yield the greatest return for it,“ notes Vygintas Sajus, Sales Manager at Ivabaltė.
According to her, it is precisely the tailored approach that allows not only for more effective use of technology but also for making informed investment decisions that increase the competitiveness of farms in the long term.
