The germination of your plants depends on sowing, and the right sowing technology can determine the health and quality of your crops. Regardless of the size of your farm and whether you cultivate the land conventionally or conservately, the Solitair pneumatic seed drill always remains precise and efficient. They are available in different models to meet a wide range of optimal sowing requirements.
DS seed depth adjustment. The sowing depth and coulter pressure can be adjusted independently, ensuring precise seed placement, especially in varying soil conditions. The position of the press wheel relative to the double disc coulter, and thus the sowing depth, can be easily changed by turning the coulter bar with two screws.
Access for calibration check. Use the fold-down step to easily reach the calibration tray.
Multiple dosing. The 6-section cellular rotors can be switched on and off as required for different types of seeds, so there is no need to change the shaft when switching to another type of seed. A consistent seed flow is always achieved by adjusting the volume and speed. The standard „Solitair“ has two or four metering units depending on the width.
Hydraulically powered fan. The fan is hydraulically driven with infinitely variable speed control. This requires only 20.4 l/min of oil flow. The required speed is achieved even at low tractor engine speeds. Fluctuations in tractor engine speed do not affect fan speed. Seed flow always remains constant.
External distributors. The seed distributors are located on the outside of the seed hopper, directly above the coulter shaft. The seed tubes, which run from the distributor to the coulter, are of uniform length to ensure that the seeds are distributed evenly. The angle of the seed tubes is fixed to prevent blockages. The distributor can be easily opened for inspection. For spelt sowing, spelt distributors can be ordered as an optional extra.
Compact design. „Solitair seed drills form a compact combination with a tillage implement.
Width section control. Each dispenser can be individually switched on and off mechanically. This function can optionally be controlled from the tractor cab using the „Solitair“ control unit. This ensures that the remaining area is sown without significant overlaps.
Mechanism of technological progress. On the „Solitair“ seed drill, up to 2 x 5 seed tubes can be fitted with tramline mechanisms for forming individual tramlines. Due to the automatic switching of the tramline valves, the air pressure in the system remains constant. Uniform seed distribution is also guaranteed by the switchable tramlines. When forming tramlines, the seeds are returned to the seed hopper.
Seed bunker emptying function. The seed hopper can be easily emptied via the drain valve located on top of the hopper. Any remaining smaller seeds can simply be discharged via the calibration tray.
