„What you sow...2022?“ explored technological solutions for modern agriculture

The annual agricultural exhibition „Ką pasėsi“ (What You Sow) invited farmers, machinery specialists, and other sector representatives for the 26th time to get acquainted with the latest farming trends.  The exhibition organised by the Vytautas Magnus University's Lithuanian Agricultural Academy is the largest event of its kind in the Baltic countries, attracting around 300 different companies and organisations. Traditionally, agricultural machinery representatives „Ivabaltė“ also participated in the exhibition, presenting their most popular machinery and the smart solutions implemented in it.

This year, participants' attention was focused on sustainable farming, and more specifically, on the latest technologies enabling efficient, precise, and clean resource use. Recent events indicate that to improve their work and preserve the land, farms must embrace innovation; this aspiration was also expressed by the visiting Minister of Agriculture. Discussions held during the exhibition covered the latest trends, and an exhibition of agricultural machinery spread over 15 hectares allowed attendees to experience smart capabilities firsthand and decide where to best direct their investments.

As is customary, the 10 best exhibits were awarded during the exhibition, and the „Rauch Aero“ pneumatic fertiliser spreaders, represented by UAB „Ivabaltė“, were among them. This device earned a gold medal specifically thanks to its intelligent Multi-Rate dosing system, which allows fertiliser to be distributed with exceptional precision using airflow. A considerable number of interested parties gathered at the „Ivabaltė“ stand to view this system up close, and a professional team of specialists answered questions about machinery represented by „Rauch“, „Fendt“, „Dammann“, and other manufacturers.

„Ką pasėsi“ (What you sow) marks the beginning of the most important seasonal work each year and inspires farmers not only for this year's tasks but also encourages them to become interested in innovations that help plan for the coming years.
