We are delighted to announce that FENDT has received five medals at Agritechnica 2015, the world's leading agricultural machinery and technology exhibition.

Fendt has secured its good reputation as a leader in innovation in the agricultural machinery sector at Agritechnica 2015. The German Agricultural Society (DLG) has already announced the medal winners in a press release in Hanover on 9th September. Fendt is receiving a gold medal for its new tyre pressure control system VarioGrip Pro.
Four silver medals go to the Fendt VarioDrive transmission, which is newly developed and designed for the Fendt 1000 Vario series of wheeled tractors, and the Fendt Grip Assistant ballasting and traction control assistance system, which is integrated into the terminal. Silver medals also went to the Fendt Former 12555 X, the first rotary rake with an integrated electric drive, and the intelligent 360° visibility camera system, which provides better visibility around the combine harvester and increased safety.
Fendt VarioGrip Pro (tyre pressure control system)
The current fully integrated tyre pressure control system allows the pressure to be changed from 0.8 bar (working in the field) to 1.8 bar (driving on the road) in 30 seconds. With this system, Fendt meets customer expectations for changing tyre pressure more quickly, thus saving time and costs, while also allowing for flexible and rapid changes in tasks.
Fendt VarioDrive (transmission)
Fendt has not only improved the stepless Vario transmission with Fendt VarioDrive, but has also developed a completely new transmission with intelligent all-wheel drive, which will be fitted first in the new 1000 Vario. With VarioDrive, the front axle is driven independently of the rear axle, resulting in increased power transmission efficiency, traction and manoeuvrability.
Fendt Grip Assistant (auxiliary ballasting and traction control system)
To help the tractor operator select the correct ballast weight and set the correct tyre pressure, Fendt has developed a new system that recommends the appropriate ballast weight and optimal pressure directly on the control terminal.
360° Camera (360° camera system)
Four ultra-wide-angle cameras combine their digital footage into a single image on the Varioterminal. Areas of the vehicle that are difficult to see become visible, and the operator can view the entire combine from a bird’s-eye view.
Fendt Former 12 555 X (electric drive rake)
Fendt is the first manufacturer at Agritechnica 2015 to present a rotary rake with an electric motor that is directly integrated into the rake rotor.
These innovations provide a significant boost towards ensuring aspects of safety, operator assistance, and automation.
