TUME Nova Combi Star seeder

Tume Nova Combi – universal seed drills with fertiliser incorporation, suitable for any soil and any cultivation technology.

The no-till seed drill is suitable for both direct drilling (without soil tillage) and for soil that has been tilled using either minimum or conventional methods. Fertiliser and seed are applied by the same pair of sowing discs, but at different depths. The fertiliser is placed approximately 2 cm below the seed. This technology ensures a uniform amount of fertiliser for each seed row. As no separate discs are required for fertiliser placement, the power requirement of the seed drill is reduced, enabling fuel savings of up to 30% and helping to protect the environment.

The Nova Combi seed drill is renowned for its depth control system with front wheels. Each wheel controls just two pairs of sowing discs, allowing the machine to work over significant soil undulations while maintaining the set seed insertion depth. The front wheels perform additional functions, firming the soil surface, pressing down crop residues, and lifting the sowing discs when encountering obstacles, thereby protecting them from direct impact. The seed drill's speed and hopper fill level do not affect the seed insertion depth or germination uniformity.

Sowing
