LEMKEN mechanical seed drill „Saphir“

S-shaped spring tine cultivators. They perfectly complement the double seed discs for levelling and improved seed covering. The harrows' height and pressure can be set individually using adjustment screws without any tools. The harrows can be supplemented with a hydraulic lifting mechanism to facilitate transport and increase working precision.;

Rotary harrows. Optionally, tool-free adjustable single seed coulters can also be purchased. Each of these reliably covers two seed rows and can be adapted for use in various conditions.;

All LEMKEN seed drills can be equipped with Pre-emergence marker. Two marker discs are synchronously controlled with the technical tracks by an integrated computer. The discs are hydraulically controlled, are strongly pressed into the soil, and leave clearly visible marks in clay soil and when mulching.

Double disc harrow The rubber-tyred depth control wheel precisely and consistently places seeds at a uniform depth, even with changing soil conditions and at high speeds. Seeds are pressed into the soil by the depth control wheel. Uncompacted areas between crop rows prevent puddling and reduce erosion. If the implement is fitted with a front press wheel, the seedbed is prepared even more perfectly.

The regulatory framework for bedbugs. The parallelogram-controlled double disc coulter offers independent adjustment of coulter pressure and seeding depth. The cross-disc bearings are wear-resistant and maintenance-free, and the bearing seal prevents dirt from entering the bearing. Due to the thin, straight disc design, work is uninterrupted by blockages.

Easy filling of the seed hopper. The plastic bunker lid fits securely but is easy to open thanks to the gas strut. The large lid opening angle allows for easy filling, even when using big bags.

Dosing accuracy. „Conti Plus“ combination seed drill. The large seed drill component is designed as a two-part „Conti Plus“ combination seed drill with a fluted honeycomb rotor. It continuously feeds seeds into the seed tubes. Seeds are precisely and consistently dosed. A side cam gear precisely and consistently doses small seeds, such as rapeseed. The separately driven seed drills can be easily switched on and off.

„The “Saphir" seeder has Hexagonal sowing shaft with quick-change system. It is very easy to change the sowing rites.
There are two types of seeding reels:

• „Mono Plus“ peas up to 150 kg/ha;
• „Mega Plus“ peas and beans over 150 kg/ha.

Seed drill housing. The functionally designed seed disc housing is made of strong, wear-resistant plastic. The closing flap and bottom flap can be quickly adjusted without the need for tools. The release flap, integrated into the seed disc housing, can be easily switched from sowing mode to calibration mode.

Flexible regulation

• The optional semi-mounted Saphir design allows the drill to be lifted and tilted forwards using a hydraulic cylinder. This reduces the load on the front axle. With hydraulic cylinders, it is also optionally possible to independently adjust the position of the main frame relative to the tine bar using „Hydro-Clips“.
• The sowing depth of the double disc coulter can be uniformly adjusted by a screw located in the centre of the seeder. Turning the rigid coulter frame changes the position of the press roller relative to the double disc coulter and, at the same time, the sowing depth. By separately adjusting the sowing depth and coulter pressure, seeds are sown precisely, especially in changing soil conditions.

Precise seed level detection. An optional integrated computer can be equipped with optical and acoustic seed level warning alarms. The sensor in the hopper is easily adjustable and accurately determines the quantity of seed present in the hopper. The seed hopper interior is designed for optimal and uninterrupted seed flow. The calibration check is performed quickly and easily by collecting the seeds into two calibration trays. These are easily inserted into and removed from the machine using convenient side pull-outs. The seed flow enters directly into the weighing pan via lateral flaps.

„Saphir 9“

• „The “EcoDrill„ control unit makes preparing and operating the Saphir 9 seed drill considerably easier during use. Its controls are clearly laid out, allowing you to always see the most important parameters.;
• The stepless gearbox allows for precise seeding rates from 0.5 to 500 kg/ha. The seeding shaft operates smoothly so that seeds are distributed evenly along its length. This is particularly important when the seeding rate is low and the seeding shaft rotates slowly.;
• Maintenance-free universal shaft reliably operates without interruption despite dust and dirt.;
• The star wheel rotates between two furrow rows within the sowing width, so driving force remains constant both uphill and downhill. Due to its large diameter, it does not slip and transmits power well. Once the work is finished, it can be easily folded with one hand movement without any tools.

„Sapphire 10“

• „The “Saphir 10" with its electric drive precisely sows from 0.5 to 500 kg/ha. The seed rate is conveniently adjustable from the tractor cab.;
• The combination of ISOBUS and Tramline Control allows for creating technical tramlines in fields without restriction. Seeding maps can be easily uploaded to the terminal using **Agrirouter**. This enables variable rate seeding using GPS data, ensuring the correct seeding rate is applied in each specific location.;
• Using the optional automatic section control „Saphir 10“, it automatically switches on and off at the field edges. This way
